After a lovely stay in Ocean City Dieter was driven back to Pennsyltucky to safely live out his turtle days on our 30 acre farm . After placing him in the garden and watching him dig his new surrroundings he wandered off a short time later . Perhaps it was too sad to bid him a formal farewell . I also considered not letting him go at all and raising him in captivity . I could not deny him a normal turtle life in such a perfect habitat . My job was done although I shall always keep an eye out for him .Saturday, June 13, 2009

One of Kody's many talents is saving people when they are not actually drowning . Sammy has her hand in Kody's mouth and his rather large teeth are pressing on her young delicate skin . These two are like a couple of litter mates and Sam endures great discomfort to play this little game that we like to call 'Saving Sammy'.Monday, June 8, 2009
